Complementary Training

LipidBRIGHT offers a structured programme of online transferable skills training, fully aligned with the training concept defined in the Description of Action. These activities complement the scientific and technical training of the doctoral candidates and support their long-term career development in academia, industry, and beyond.

Online training courses are delivered at network level and are accessible to all doctoral candidates,
forming an integral part of the LipidBRIGHT doctoral training programme.
Transferable skills training
Career orientation and career development, including structured sessions on academic and non-academic career paths, individual career planning, and professional profiling.
Leadership, communication, and personal development, supporting doctoral candidates in developing skills required for interdisciplinary teamwork, scientific communication, and leadership roles.
Innovation, entrepreneurship, and business development, addressing knowledge valorisation, intellectual property, and pathways for translating research results into clinical or industrial applications.
Open science, research integrity, and ethics, including responsible research and innovation, data management, and compliance with European open science policies.
Interdisciplinary and intersectoral skills, strengthening the ability of doctoral candidates to work across disciplines and sectors, particularly at the interface of health research, data science, and innovation.
These training activities are delivered through online courses, webinars, virtual workshops, and seminar series, often in collaboration with LipidBRIGHT associated partners and external expert networks.
